FG=Flow Gauge S=Switch
Our new, fully integrated differential pressure flow meters are compact and rugged, with directly connected, large throated, non-clogging flow nozzles. This unique design reduces size and cost while minimizing errors and leaks.
Simply select the flow rate and material, and you're set. There is no need to choose a primary flow element, a differential pressure gauge, and then piping. Ordering, installation, and maintenance is simplified with Orange Research differential pressure flow meters. Everything is in one compact package.
Differential Pressure Flow Meter Features
Differential Pressure Flow Meter Benefits
The Orange Research differential pressure flow meter nozzle design is a long life, wear-resistant element that provides many years of service. Its smooth, rounded leading face reduces turbulence and backpressure. Sharp-edged orifice plates often change readings over time due to wear, even with non-abrasive fluids. Venturis are great, but their cost is often prohibitive. A flow nozzle offers the best of both worlds: a low-cost solution that wears well and has relatively low pressure drop.
In our differential pressure flow meter design, the flow nozzle is manifold mounted to the gauge, which minimizes leak paths and reduces overall gauge size. Other differential pressure flow meter designs are much larger and do not fit into tight enclosures.
Our differential pressure gauges are known worldwide as the rugged, "install them and forget them" type of flow meters. Orange Research differential pressure sensors are magnetically coupled to the indicator for smooth movement that withstands vibration, overpressure, and pulsations.
Reed switches can accompany the meters. SPST switches are offered normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.). SPDT reed switches also are available.
